Wellington boots offer excellent water resistance but very limited support and comfort. Walking boots offer good support and comfort but have limited waterproof capabilities compared to Wellington boots. The ability to add gaiters to walking boots is an improvement but can be time consuming, fragile and water will still seep under the boots. With the Highland Pro you get all the benefits and none of the drawbacks. The Highland Pro walking boots feature a Gore-Tex membrane on the inside to aid breathability. It also features an integrated gaiter that seals the walking boot and external rubber padding to ensure durability and make the boot 100% waterproof.
